Dorothea is very much used in German given names. Very, very common. Girls might be known as Doro, Doris, Dorrie, etc.
Trying to remember. Late evening Sunday night? Between 7p.m and 9 EST???
There really is no "average."
Whoa!! Is this what you're looking for?
Holy crap! Or are you looking for an actual ancestral tree?

I have learned techniques. Looks like Charlemagne and Merovingian are definitely involved in your first request.
I agree. Eventually. If rcds exist.
This would take some digging. Hours probably because what is found online would most likely be false. Real rcds would have to be procured - birth certs, church rcds?, Census rcds, death rcds, etc. There is a 100 year "hold" on death and birth rcds - privacy issues - so it could be difficult to do.
My feeling is that IF she was NA, she'd be PLEASED to prove it. Before I had any idea of what I was really doing, I had many DNA tests run for myself and my family members. I was trying to connect to the next generation back, and didn't have a "paper trail" (birth/death/marr rcds.) Pocahontas would have a DNA test done. I bet she already HAS. I wonder if a family member could be found in an online DNA database??? Hmmmm. I'll do some looking.
It is a very fun hobby. I would not suggest DNA testing with what I now know, but if you said hell with it, you might be able to join SAR by making a DNA connection with a Revolutionary War Patriot. Call them and see. I think the DAR is out East - Maine, Mass. I bet SAR is in the same area.
