Have been doing some research on the Nazi link that Q went too deep with.
Mae Brussell was one of the firsts to recognize these links, talking about them on her radio show that she hosted for 17 years. "Mae began to realize that the international terrorist network that made up the Axis powers during World War II had effectively gone underground and continued their worldwide fascist campaign even before the War had officially ended; As one country after another changed hands, Mae recognized many of the same familiar names, methods, and tactics that were used to swallow up Germany in the 1920s and 1930s." The article "The Mind of Mae Brussell" and the book about her findings "The Essential Mae Brussell: Investigations of Fascism in America" are must reads to understand post WWII politics.
Another useful source I've found is the documentary "Reinhard Gehlen - The CIA & The Nazis". Two weeks after WWII ends the US starts working with Reinhard Gehlen, the chief of the Nazi military intelligence on the Soviet Union, after he offers to share information in return for immunity. After securing funding from the Pentagon, he goes on to start the spy ring known as the Gehlen Organization, which would eventually become Germany's intelligence service the BND.
Many officials in the U.S. were very opposed to working with him, however he had exaggerated the threat of a Soviet invasion of Europe, and many felt they had no choice in the face of the Communist threat. They thought that if they didn't work with them, the Soviets would. This would backfire against the U.S. though, as Gehlen hired Nazi war criminals who were blackmailed by the Soviets and turned into double agents, who threatened to reveal their war crimes if they didn't provide information. Documents released by the Nazi War Criminals Disclosure Act would reveal that 90% of their operations were garbage. They were fradulent, didn't exist, or the information was useless.
This is very distrubing as two thirds of the raw intelligence that filtered into NATO about the Soviets came from the Gehlen Organization. This would intensify the Cold War as the military took these reports very seriously, and the Soviet's were outraged at the alliance between the Nazi's and the US intelligence. Gehlen's Organization oversight would be overseen by the CIA after it's creation, who were aware the organization was infiltrated and did nothing about this for over a decade.
It has also been speculated, with the formation of the CIA at the same time as this collaboration, that Gehlen’s Org became a decisive, perhaps the decisive component of the CIA’s worldwide apparatus. Its thousands of highly experienced operatives, much older than incoming CIA recruits, likely had a big effect on the culture of the CIA. Experts in clandestine and illegal control of Germany through political assassinations and reversal of judicial processes became the new teachers for Allen Dulles and Richard Helms. They helped form the new CIA in 1947, based upon clandestine activities in Nazi Germany.
At the same time the US was working with the Gehlen Organization, Operation Paperclip was also ongoing. This operation recruited missile and rocket experts, munition makers, war experts who were located into aerospace programs, war industries, armament factories, defense and warfare manufacturing. Many were members or leaders of the Nazi party, who would now hold key positions in our universities, factories, aircraft and aerospace programs.
