I was contemplating the descriptions of the angels who are kept under jagged rocks and in chains of deepest darkness.
Stars are equated to angels sometimes.
What if black holes are prisons for those angels? Is that where chains of deepest darkness are?

You know what? Sea creatures were not killed in the flood. Shit from before the flood may still be in the oceans.
The way I understand those descriptions is that is was couched in language and descriptions that a farmer or whatever could understand.
In other words God purposefully did not go into orbits, rotations, satellites, etc because the minds of those times, the people he was targeting, did not have that level of sophistication.
I think both sides are right, when you understand the limited ancient mind it was written for.
God knows the earth is round. He made it.
