Missing Long Island Man Found Dead In Ravine Off Route 231
WEST ISLIP (CBSNewYork) – A man who disappeared more than two weeks ago on Long Island and was reported missing has been found dead in his car.
Suffolk County police say 45-year-old Thomas Kelsey was found in his SUV in a ravine off of Route 231 in North Babylon on Thursday….he worked as a limo driver.

Former Vermont environmental leader missing in Glacier National Park
escue teams have scaled back their search for a former Vermont environmental leader who went missing in Glacier National Park in Montana earlier this month.
Mark Sinclair, who held leadership positions at the Vermont Conservation Law Foundation and Clean Energy Group, was last seen on July 8. He passed through a park visitor center at 2:30 p.m., leaving behind his car, keys, and dog. He wore a yellow bandana.

Former R.I. Sen. Kettle rejects plea deal on sex extortion charges
PROVIDENCE – Former state senator Nicholas Kettle, charged with twice extorting sex from a teenage State House page, on Friday rejected a plea offer that would have spared him a prison sentence if found guilty.
Kettle refused what Special Assistant Attorney General Shannon Signore described as the state’s “final offer”: a five-year suspended sentence and five years probation on one charge, with the second dropped.
Each charge carries a 15-year maximum sentence on conviction.
Kettle’s lawyer Paul DiMaio said after the court hearing that his client was rejecting the offer because “he’s innocent, that’s why. If he wasn’t, that’d be a good offer.”
