Youth detention center workers accused of 82 counts of rape in New Hampshire

Two former counselors at the Sununu Youth Services Center were charged with raping a teenage boy 82 times in the late 1990s.

Jeffrey Buskey is charged with 56 counts of aggravated felonious sexual assault, while Steven Murphy, 50, received 26 counts of the same crime.

Gov. Chris Sununu – a Republican whose father, former Gov. John H. Sununu, is the center’s current namesake – called the allegations “sickening.”
