For those curious about the subject of undersea lairs along the CA coast, in the text of this post, Point Sur is mentioned. If you wanted a very remote place, far from prying eyes in a very populated State, Point Sur is that place. Look at a map to see how that part of the coast (south of Monterey Bay/Carmel-By-The-Sea) is absolutely isolated. There is nothing but forest and ocean along a 100+ mile stretch, with only a mostly 2 lane road (PCH) running it's length.
