I just saw Once Upon a Time in Hollywood…didn't know much about it. Leonardo DiCaprio is an actor, Brad Pitt plays his stunt double in the movie. I quickly learn its a Quinton Tarantino movie so now I’m thinking, “Oh great, this is going to be bloody and gory”
Side story weaves through it…Leonardo lives next store to Roman Polanski and Sharon Tate, hippy girls keep popping up in movie, references to Manson, yada yada…I figure I know where this is headed.
End of movie Tex and Hippy chicks burst in to kill everyone but have wrong house. They break in to Leonardos house, Pitt ends up killing 2, Leonardo kills the other.
Sharon Tate ends up hearing commotion after police leave, talks to Leonardo through gate intercom and buzzes him up to have a drink with her and 2 friends (who actually died in real life). So the ONLY people who die in THIS version are the bad guys.
Here is the weird part, in one of the opening scenes the camera zooms into the name of the movie studio, which is a GIANT Q. Last scene when pregnant Sharon Tate runs up to Leonardo she is wearing a football type jersey with the number 17.
This can’t be a coincidence. Is QT sending a message?
