WATCH: Two Moluccan cockatoos sing, dance after meeting in pet store

Moluccan cockatoos Max and Q met each other at a local pet store and just couldn’t contain their mutual excitement, which left nearby smiling humans giggling with joy. According to Rumble Viral, the atmosphere was so contagious that an “impromptu party” was started.

This is how everyone should greet their friends! In this video Max the Moluccan meets Q, a younger female Moluccan. Their excitement meeting each other is contagious! The two Cockatoos sing, dance and throw an impromptu party to the delight of onlookers.Everybody whipped out their cell phones to catch the party - after all, it's not that often that two Moluccan Cockatoos drop into a pet store to pick up snacks, have a play date and entertain the crowds. Max isn't quite sure what to make of the other cockatoo when she starts to show off, but he just gets louder and more excited. Max is the original Moluccan Cluckatoo with his unmistakable trademark Bok that he sings with joy. It’s hard not to laugh when you watch this 25 year old male Moluccan Cockatoo with a larger than life attitude. Max believes that all humans are ridiculous, it’s always a great time for snacks, and, of course, that the world revolves around him. His life is filled with adventures that he loves to share with his flockers. Occasionally Max shares the spotlight with flock members Tycho (A 23 year old African Grey who believes cameras are parrot eating monsters), Tikal (A 44 year old Amazon who enjoys saying hello), and his owner (a featherless biped who doesn’t listen). Max is living with his owner in his forever home. When he was ten years old he was rescued from a bad situation. In his original home he was living in a basement, and had a lot of behavioral challenges – screaming non-stop and biting to the point that he couldn’t be handled safely. He has come a long way since then, and is now very friendly and social. The Moluccan Cockatoo, also known as a Salmon-crested Cockatoo (Cacatua moluccensis) can live 60 to 80 years. They are readily recognized by their trademark peach color with a brilliant Salmon colored crest that provides a brilliant display. Like all Parrots they require a lot of attention, nutrition and care.

Why 6G research is starting before we have ~~[5G]~~

While much of the world is still wondering how long it will take to get 5G networks, and what it could mean to their lives and economies, a group of telecommunications researchers is looking further ahead to what comes after that: 6G.

Next week in Levi, Finland, a group of 250 researchers will gather for one of the first global summits on the 6G Wireless standard to begin asking the most basic of questions: What is it and why does the world need it?

“I don’t know what 6G is,” said Dr. Ari Pouttu, a professor at the University of Oulu in Finland. “Nobody does.”

That’s a blunt assessment from the man who is also vice-director of Finland’s 6G Flagship program. During a recent visit to Oulu as part of a media tour of the region’s tech ecosystem, Pouttu gave a presentation to our group of journalists.

The country designated Oulu, located on the edge of the Baltic Sea about five hours north of Helsinki, the center of its 6G efforts due to its historic connections to Nokia and its concentration of researchers, such as Pouttu, who were instrumental in developing the 5G standard. The program runs over the next eight years, and is valued at about $285 million, with about half coming from public funding and the other half to be raised from industry partners.

These efforts are just barely in an embryonic stage, and as in the past, would likely have stayed the stuff of obscure academic chatter were it not for a sudden spotlight thrown on them by the most unlikely of 6G boosters:

What Is 6G Technology? Trump Wants Something That Doesn't Really Exist Yet

On Thursday, POTUS wrote about what he perceives to be the necessary next step for technology in the United States. In a tweet, Trump said that he wanted "5G, and even 6G, technology in the United States as soon as possible." So for anyone who's been wondering what 6G technology is, you should know you're not alone.

First things first: Per The Washington Post, 5G technology is only beginning to be in the works for most data networks, and 6G technology isn't even a fully-fleshed concept yet. Obviously, it follows that 5G technology would come after 4G technology (which is what data networks provide now), and 6G would eventually come after 5G — but that doesn't mean it's a real thing yet.
