google started a project to scan university libraries. >https://www.hathitrust.org/

many prestigious universities have signed up in partnership. google scanned their archives and its free to research through them.

lots of OLD books on masons, rothsteins, etc available and is open source and in public domain.

if you are not a partner you can only download one page at a time. however a simple script can be wrote to download them all and put the individual pages back together. took an hour to do it.
