‘What is the significance of the colors, design and symbol above the dome?’
The graphics explain what I think and if it’s been done before then my apologies though perhaps there’s something new to be gleaned from it. Perhaps not.
Q calls it the ‘M’ temple but is it M for Moloch or M for Mason? Why can’t it be both? Why can’t it serve dual functions on different dates or even different times of the day?
There are some that say that the temple is not a temple but merely an access point. Others say that it’s too cheaply constructed to be an actual temple and is a diversion. Still more insist that it’s solely a sun temple because of the golden dome. I disagree.
To me it’s a cheaply built temporary temple like the ‘blue pavilion’ or eastern ‘Lucifer’ cardinal point building that’s recently been demolished. They never thought she would lose and so didn’t expect to have to remain ‘contained’ on and under the island for much longer thus the temporary (making do) temple was constructed for all to see. A forewarning to all who passed of what was to come as is consistent with their Karma avoiding beliefs. They expected to be able to throw off their secrecy and build massive temples of hewn rock and marble, gold and silver, bronze and brass and copper all over the world. They were wrong.
I’m certainly no expert on Masonic symbology but to my eye the temple does have a few characteristics of the ancient Temple of Solomon which, I believe, is important to the Masons. The fire pit for burnt offerings and the ten exterior lights are reminiscent of the ten golden lamp stands inside the ancient temple. Also one of the old Masonic aprons shows a temple with a dome. Maybe the nearby ‘grotto’ (tidal pool) at the base of the hill was for the ritual purification of the priests/priestesses? Not much is it.
Also, in my opinion, the fact that it has ten exterior lights (two north, two south, three east, three west) means it’s also very likely to have much more use as a night temple for the stars and planets than a day temple. It’d be very risky to hold a ritual and sacrifice a child in board daylight even on the two higher southern and eastern points. More likely the central sundial was built specifically for those rituals.
The Dutch East India Company connections are interesting.
