Since it's "all about the break". What if after congress leaves on break and then several indictments are unsealed for "certain" person's of interest, would they choose not to return?
If they don't return knowing of a pending arrest would they be arrested in their home state?
Or better yet since DC takes precedence over all other states as far as litigating the cases which would be too massive for the DC courts to handle.
What if the indictments are in their home state and they are unsealed when the reps get home? Then their home states would be able to prosecute them in the home state courts instead of DC which wouldn't cause such a backlog. DC courts would be free to prosecute the "big fish" (unless Mil Tribunals would be DC?) If they are prosecuted in their home states think Horowitz. Since he is Special Counsel outside of DC he can call a grand jury in each and every state then. This would be epic!!!!
Just musing a little tonight!! Kek!
