I've been analyzing action movies from the 80s and 90s, and it seems like they're laced with propaganda to make people anti-gun ownership. Or in the case of some of them, only encourage low rounds like revolver pistols.
Doesn't change the fact that there's subversive elements at play to get people to think in terms of owning strictly shot guns, 6 shooter pistols, or no guns at all.
