You're wise to be skeptical of it. It can be taken in so many directions and interpreted in so many different ways. It's incredibly vague and easy to manipulate.
It's a bit different than flat earthers, though. It's more like fortune tellers. Throw out a feeler, then play off the reaction sort of thing. It seems like a trend. Usually, I'm skeptical of anyone who pushes it on me. I had people legitimately trying to derail my research last year by private messaging me peddling both JR propaganda and gematria, like they were trying to give me "special access" to "secret decodes" that were "major breakthroughs"… So. Naturally, that made me even more skeptical of the gematria fad.
Hope that helped. Don't forget to tell pass this message along to other normies. The don't understand when I attempt to communicate. They usually just reply stuff like, "but I like gematria. I think it's cool!". And that's where I sigh and wonder how I got stuck on this planet. Good luck, normie friend. Try to stay as skeptical as possible. Be leary of people who aggressively push a narrative. Logic should speak for itself. However, common sense appears to be on the verge of extinction. And there are genuinely good people who do fall for some outrageous things for whatever reasons. I'll say this much though, if it was hopeless, I wouldn't be here. No sleep til MAGA!!!
