The officially stated purpose for pro forma sessions

is to comply with Article I, Section 5 of the Constitution, which prohibits either chamber of Congress from adjourning for more than three consecutive calendar days without the consent of the other chamber.

Its been used in 2017 (against POTUS) usually to block presidential appointments, but as ol' Chuckie states,

Senate Minority Leader Charles Schumer (D-N.Y.) warned last month that Democrats had "tools in our toolbox" to block a recess appointment.

"We're ready to use every single one of them, any time, day or night. It's so vital to the future of the republic," he said.

its the lack of hemoglobin - it doesn't stay bright red. I've never seen bleeding in a straight line unless there is a yard stick or ruler in there directing the flow.

Agreed on the amputated limb- clear, healed wound- probably years old. NO BLOOD at the end or ragged tissue.

I've waded ankle deep in it. Surgery- saw it all day every day and sometimes 24 hr straight.
