I'm not opposed to learning nor studying the thoughts of others but I reject the notion that original thoughts are devalued by lack of insight from figures if the past.
Who did those you suggest I/we study?
What is the source of their knowledge?
If we were to study those who the philosophers of ole studied, would we arrive at the same conclusion?
