Wonder what we're going to find out about the hotel industry? The possibilities are many. Just one aspect - preying on the everyday person - think of a powerful entity with thousands of locations that has your identity card, credit card, and knows exactly where you are sleeping, and has staff that can enter your room and go through your stuff when you aren't there. And maybe has hidden cams in the room. And you're connected to their Wifi network where they could log anything from that connection, maybe even access content on your device.
