Totally nuts. In San Francisco they have e-bike shares, These are electric motorcyclies, essentially. You do not need a driver's license to pick one up. They are exempt, effectively, from traffic laws. Pedestrians are terrified. They have no license plates.

The only way they have to pay the rental fee is if they relock the bike when they get off. So they dump it in the bushes and the next person takes off on it and also just dumps it on the sidewalk.

It is a nightmare. We have bikes, robots, e bikes all over the sidewalks and blasting through stop signs and red lights.

But, you would think the cyclists were a special breed. According to them, they are gods who can do no wrong.

In the last census they asked me who my internet provider was, what kind of computer I had, and what kind of phone I had. Am I the only one? It was weird. The guy came to my house.

They are leaving California, you know. Finally. They drove the cost of living here up so high, they chased all the natives out.

But, now, they themselves can't afford to live here. So they are moving on.

Don't blame it on Californians when they get to your state. They only say they are Californians. Almost none of them really are.
