She announced her departure at all-staff meeting on Monday. Politico first reported the news, which a DCCC source confirmed to CQ Roll Call. DCCC leadership had come under fire from some lawmakers for not including more diverse staffers among its top brass.

Private Equity Billionaire Leon Black Sends Letter To Employees Addressing Jeffrey Epstein Ties
Apollo Global Management cofounder and CEO Leon Black got into hot water recently for his past ties to Jeffrey Epstein, who has been charged with sex trafficking. On Friday, Black sent a company-wide email to Apollo employees, where he explained that he was unaware of Epstein’s alleged criminal behavior, but didn’t address reports that he donated to an Epstein related charity after Epstein served time for prostitution charges.
Though the New York Times reported that an investment vehicle controlled by Black donated $10 million in 2015 to a charity that Epstein started after his Florida sex charges, Black did not directly address those claims. He ended the email on an apologetic note: “I look forward to the future and I am sorry if this recent media attention has been a distraction or caused you any concern,” Black wrote.
