Reports indicate over 3,100 journalists have lost their jobs so far in 2019.

Showing just how useless the national mainstream media is, over 3,100 professionals in the media have lost their job so far this year, in what could be termed a massive win for the Learn To Code movement.

While conservative media continues to be strangled by big tech through deboosting, deplatforming, and algorithmic manipulation, they continue to persist while mainstream media outlets fold and decrease their work force simply because nobody is reading them.

The media industry continued to execute large cuts in June as MAD Magazine, Pride Media, and Meredith reduced headcounts.

The cuts followed large rounds of layoffs earlier in the year from companies including BuzzFeed, Verizon, and Vice Media.

The massive cuts so far this year represent a recent trend in media that has seen upstart companies and newspapers alike shrinking and disappearing.

Aside from BuzzFeed, Verizon, and Vice Media, Business Insider notes that MAD Magazine, Issue 10, Jet, Ebony, Quartz, and other publications, including LGBT magazines, will all lay off employees or cease production.

As the majority of the West continues to sink into depravity to please the most radical elements of the LGBTQ agenda, a Northern Italian council is planning to ban the use of gender altering drugs on children.

While North Americans argue about whether a pre-operation trans person has the right to force a Brazilian salon to wax male genitalia, Italians are working toward making it impossible for children to be given hormone changing drugs that could permanently stunt their development should they later come to the conclusion they are not transgendered.

In fact, these drugs may do much more harm than good, as the vast majority of children suffering gender dysphoria will lose the feelings as they approach adulthood.

North Korea's illegal efforts to skirt international sanctions on its weapons of mass destruction program have occurred as the country continues efforts to test nuclear weapons in defiance of international restrictions, according to information provided by the Treasury Department.

The administration is leaving the door open to further sanctions on North Korea and those tied to its nuclear weapons program.

Up to 200 killed at North Korea's nuclear test site: report

Up to 200 workers could have been killed after a tunnel collapsed at North Korea’s nuclear test site, according to a media report.

Japanese broadcaster TV Asahi said around 100 people were trapped when the unfinished tunnel caved in at the Punggye-ri site, which lies south of the Mantapsan mountain, 50 miles from the border with China.

The Telegraph reported that the incident occurred on Oct. 10, citing South Korean news agency Yonhap.

Another 100 people could have died in a second collapse as they attempted to rescue their trapped colleagues, TV Asahi reported.

LAPD Data Breach Exposes Personal Info of Roughly 2.5K Officers

The Los Angeles Police Department has suffered a data breach that has reportedly exposed the names, email addresses, passwords, and birth dates for police officers and applicants.

According to local media reports, the personal information for 2,500 LAPD officers and approximately 17,500 police officer applicants were exposed during a data breach that was discovered on July 25th 2019.

In a statement to BleepingComputer, the LAPD confirmed the data breach and said that they are working with city partners to determine the scope of the breach. For those officers and applicants who have been affected, the City has notified them and will continue to provide updates as they become available.

"The Los Angeles Police Department is working with our city partners to better understand the extent and impact of this data breach. We are also taking steps to ensure the Department’s data is protected from any further intrusions. The employees and individuals who may have been affected by this incident have been notified and we will continue to update them as we progress through this investigation. Data security is paramount at the Los Angeles Police Department and we are committed to protecting the privacy of anyone who is associated with our agency.”

In a statement released today by the Office of Mayor Eric Garcetti, the breach occurred in a old database that was no longer being used by the "Personnel Department" and exposed "limited information".
