It is no accident or coincidence that nearly all of the big/major cities in the US have a Democratic mayor.
Democrats purposely drove Republicans out of the cities, one district at a time.
Chicago, 1960s, blue collar, working class, Republican neighborhoods were infiltrated by violent gangs.
These same neighborhood, now, 60 years later, remain some of the most violent, crime ridden neighborhoods in Chicago.
