I think we have the responsibility, as citizen journalists witnessing the events in real-time, to both record our thoughts/feelings, and to make sure we are ambitious in our future endeavors. We, as clear, critical thinkers (usually) are going to be best-equipped to map out the future. That means getting positioned in our communities to hold the reigns to the best of our abilities. And I don't mean government (necessarily).
