Agreed. I think a lot of leftists could be tempted to swallow the truth more easily if there was something in it for them: Attention.
Right now they are loving the victim status and demand attention because of it; negative or positive attention doesn't matter as long as there's a spotlight to be had.
So keep that narrative going. Victim of manipulative media, or victim of FB/Goog/Twatter algorithms. You get the idea.
