Shooting at Mississippi Walmart leaves 1 dead, officer injured
SOUTHAVEN, Miss. — A shooting at a Mississippi Walmart left one person dead, an officer injured and a suspect shot Tuesday morning, according to KSTU and WREG.
Police in Southaven, Mississippi, are investigating the incident on the 6800 block of Southcrest Parkway.
Employees were told they cannot leave the scene. Some were seen praying in a circle.
It is unclear exactly how many people were injured or what led to the shooting.

A worker was shot to death, according to WREG reporter Jerrita Patterson. There were reports on social media of an active shooter. That has not been confirmed by authorities who are not releasing details.
