Baltimore reached its peak population per the 1950 census ~950k and once a very wealthy city.

 

Nancy Pelosi's dad was mayor 1947-1959. 1960 census = ~940k. Nancy Pelosi's brother is mayor 1967-1971. Population in 1970 = ~906k….and he finished the business.

 

1980 = 787k and is in the low 600ks now. I guess that is why she went to San Francisco in the 70s because Baltimore was already looted.
