Recently, I had the experience of redpilling a "semi-liberal" friend. As I patiently explained to her what was really happening, what POTUS was doing, she finally GOT IT. She said that she would listen to the news, or see the news and it was all bad. Just trashing POTUS and she was so overwhelmed with anxiety that she turned off the news or went to a different internet page. She blocked it out.
This is what the MSM is doing to fragile older people. They absolutely cannot handle all the terrible doom and gloom rhetoric being spewed so they just tune out.
It took me literally hours of talking and showing her what was going on. Why POTUS was saying the things that he was and what was happening as a result. She had told me that MSM had her hating POTUS so much that she couldn't bare to even listen to him. (Hell, I felt that way about that Traitor Hussein and all the MSM did was make love to him - I wanted to puke).
When she left after her visit she vowed to look at the news differently as well as POTUS, thanked me for making things clearer, and she didn't feel so hopeless and lost.
We need to understand the depth of the disconnect and lead those confused and forgotten people gently. It's like having a quantum physicist trying to explain string theory to someone is mathmatically challenged. They don't have the background necessary to understand and to make the connections. We spend hours and hours reading all sorts of stuff, things that normies wouldn't even consider being the slightest bit interesting. Then we have to figure out a way to explain it in a nutshell to someone who only gets their information from the 6 O'Clock news.
I'm not shilling here, I just wanted to put the efforts to red pill in perspective and the kind of wall we are up against. Perhaps, that is why it is even more important to red pill friends and family first (if possible). Having a computer handy with tangible research and sauce can certainly help with the show and tell.
