Investigation into broken links and missing thumbnails in the board archive

Have been digging today after yesterday when we looked back at the Gitmo posts from June 19 which Q highlighted again yesterday.

Bread #8672 (link below), had been archived however many thread-to-thread links were broken in it including Q posts and the notables lists (pic related).

At first I thought that some threads may not have been archived successfully.

After investigation however it appears they have (documentation of tests done below).

What there is an issue with is broken links from thread-to-thread, and most thumbnail images aren't showing.

I'll pass this on to BO over at meta now and ask that he ask CM if it can be resolved.

Our live board archive is so important and I'm sure CM understands how much enough to help.

Will update you all.

I looked into the issue today and it's better than first thought.

If you're linking from the spreadsheet all will be fine, it's the bread-to-bread links and thumbnails which have issues.

I know you're prolly busy but the thing is, most links (thread-to-thread) are working, just approx. 40% not.
