I'd like to take a shot at why judge did this.....

1) "nigga I ain't clickin' that shit" approach to the contraversy.....

and / or

2) by bothering to state as much it can later be counted as one more instance of "fraud upon the court"....

1) is occam's choice but 2) was my initial thought.
