Joel Osteen drills something most churches completely suck at: faith. He doesn't say your victories will be money, he only uses that as a parable. Your victories are to get past whatever tests God give you. Joel tells you to give God the glory even when your natural situation is crap. He doesn't take away from the gospel because he tells you to attend a local bible-based church for the rest and then he tells you to tithe that church. I think he's a good person in a tight situation. If you want to go after him, dig his connections and say something tangible.
