Um ok, seriously? Can we separate and not conflate two very different issues here?

God exists or he doesn't. Period. He doesn't "exist" for you, and "not exist" for the guy down the street. You can of course choose to believe whatever you want, but God's existence is 100% independent of any feelings you have on the matter... because you aren't God and don't have the power to create or uncreate Him at your own whim.

For the sake of argument, let's say He does exist... then there is only one God, and it's on you to find out what HE believes, and bring your own beliefs into conformity with Him.

On the other hand, stand firm in your personal relationship with Him, ask Him to teach you, and ignore anybody who wants to tell you what you are supposed to believe about God.

My personal belief is that God is my Heavenly Father, and Jesus is His Son. But my belief doesn't SHAPE REALITY for anyone (including myself). I am either right, or I am wrong.

You don't understand your Heavenly Father.

He doesn't demand worship to glorify himself. We are tiny specs of dust, on a spec of dust, orbiting a spec of dust, hurtling through space… utterly insignificant to any being with a spec of pride in His character. Ponder infinity, and any finite being "rounds to zero" by comparison.

He wants you to come to understand and "worship Him" to bring you into harmony with His infinite spirit and energy, so that you can become more like Him, and receive from Him the fullness of all he has and possesses… a full heir sharing all He has. His promise is to make you greater than the greatest King who has ever lived on this earth.

Only Lucifer (or Islam) want you in "submission" to keep you down and know your place.
