The sacrifice Christ demands of us is ourselves. Not our money. However, being charitable in humility (not boasting our gifts to others for all to see) is part of the life. Churches have been abusing this part of the life to subdue believers into piggy banks. People are waking up, but it takes time.

Outside of the cross, yes, his "sacrifice" in exchange for grace was of Himself in servitude to His fellow man. It was the impersonators that put him on the cross demanding the physical sacrifice.

Or you can use that 100 to actually help someone in need. This is what Christ commanded of us, and why the "bankers" in the temple lost their fucking minds over His teachings, and ultimately had him killed.
