Before joining IDEX, he held executive positions of increasing responsibility at Rexnord Industries, Newell Rubbermaid, and Danaher Corporation. Andy began his career as an equity research associate for Fidelity Investments.
He serves on the board of directors of Stryker Corporation and MacLean-Fogg Company. Andy has been named one of the most powerful CEOs 40 and under by Fortune Magazine and one of the top CEOs in America by Institutional Investor Magazine.
He is a trustee for the Manufacturers Alliance for Productivity and Innovation, and an overseer for the Dartmouth Thayer School of Engineering. Andy is also a member of the 2012 Class of Henry Crown Fellows at the Aspen Institute.
A strong believer in serving the communities in which we live and work, Andy serves as a director for the Boys & Girls Club of Lake County, Illinois, and, within IDEX, has worked hard to establish and grow the IDEX Foundation, the company’s charitable giving entity.
Andy previously served as a national trustee for The Boys & Girls Club of America and on the advisory board for Harvard Business School. He received a bachelor’s degree in Government from Dartmouth College and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.

The Sacramento County Sheriff’s Department is responding to reports of a gunman opening fire in the area of Madison Avenue and College Oak Drive Wednesday afternoon.
Officials say no injuries have been reported.
The suspect has not been detained.
There is a heavy police presence in the area as officials search for the suspect. Avoid the area at this time.
