I'm also thinking that the Cabal are the successors of the secrets of the lost societies you mention, though I wonder if they really were ever lost. The Cabal worships the same Ancient Mystery Religion as the Sumerians/Assyrians/Ancient Egyptians because they pass down the secrets through "the elites," in an attempt to preserve the secrets of the universe of the few while enslaving the many. I think part of the Great Awakening is understanding the truth about ourselves: our history, our divine nature, and the advanced knowledge which underpin the Ancient Mystery Religion. Just looking at your comparison of the Eye of Horus and the Christ Fish symbol. The Ancient Mystery Religion, which was practiced by the Ancient Egyptians, believed that Osiris would be reincarnated as Horus. Which does sound a lot like Jesus being reincarnated in a second-coming (and the Anti-Christ).
