got to bite the bullet and just do it, but don't look back. everyone said i would not last 6 months being a suburban suit working in the city...twelve years later, they are bitter that I "do not have a job".... nothing easy about it.
If it is an old farm it probably has a live spring...since most homesteads antebellum period are like that....at least on the eastern seaboard and inward to the Mississippi. the thing is always a money pit...it is a lifestyle, not so much a living.....and your farm and animals own you (not the other way around) and your life changes and the folks you know now will first think it is cute you have a farm but you will find that you do not have time to "hang" anymore.
There is no Monday, Tuesday, Friday...weekends...holidays... Animals do not worship planets and name days after them and did not need a Savior so they do not have those holidays either.......
