I’ve wanted to write about the island of Espalmador since the 99 year leases were mentioned by Q…

It’s an island in Spain, no one knows whom owns it. All we know is the tenants, whose identity we ignore as well, have a 99 year lease on the island.

When I say “we” I mean everyone on the neighboring island of Formentera. On the island of Formentera there is also a house, a house by the name “casa Maxey” whose proprietor is unknown, however it has always been (seasonally) occupied by painter Tony Rowland and “Big John”…. two singular characters, both gay, extremely well connected and managing unreasonable resources given neither of them work.

As for islands… I believe there are plenty of islands out there where bad shit happens: from Tristan da Cunha to St. Barts, even to some basement in Cleveland or who knows where.

Every single sick fuck who puts his needs above others’ freedom is one of these islands. Think mirror… I mean, let’s all take an honest look at ourselves while we undertake to erradicate evil. Know what I’m talking about?

Not trying to defend the monsters, but not wanting to associate with the burners of witches, either. I know what Virtue is, and I haven’t seen it much in my experience…
