A so-called ‘Millionaire Madam’ who previously admitted to co-operating a multi-million dollar prostitution and cocaine distribution ring is in trouble again.

As TribLive in Pittsburgh reports, Amy Schifano, 43, who was dubbed the “Monroeville Madam” for her role in the previous million-dollar prostitution enterprise, has been arrested following an undercover prostitution sting.

Police tell TribLive that Schifano, 43, agreed to perform a sex act on a detective for $200 late last month, according to a criminal complaint filed against her Tuesday.

Her arrest was part of a joint human trafficking and prostitution detail worked by Pittsburgh and state police, the FBI and the state Attorney General’s Office, TribLive writes, adding:

According to the affidavit in the case, Schifano allegedly tried to make sure she wasn’t dealing with a police officer by asking him to expose himself and telling him to touch her.

The detective, who was sitting in a vehicle, refused but persuaded her to continue with the date. Schifano then allegedly reached in the window to touch the detective and asked him to touch her, TribLive reports, citing court papers.

The detective then gave the signal for other law enforcement officials to make an arrest, according to the criminal complaint.

Previously, Schifano gained notoriety in 2008 when she pleaded guilty to charges related to her involvement operating a multi-million dollar prostitution and cocaine distribution ring out of Monroeville with her then-boyfriend, former National Football League player John Robert Buczkowski, TribLive writes, adding:

Schifano served three-and-a-half years of a 3- to 6-year sentence before being released in April 2011. Four months after her release, she was arrested and charged with similar violations. She served five days in Allegheny County Jail before posting $5,000 bond.

Alleged leader of Detroit trafficking operation arrested

MONROE, Mich. (AP) - Authorities say the alleged leader of a large sex- and drug-trafficking operation that was based in Detroit has been arrested following a 2½-year search.

Federal authorities say Homeland Security Investigations special agents and deputies with the U.S. Marshals Service arrested 50-year-old Darrick Bell on Wednesday evening at a motel in Monroe, about 35 miles southwest of Detroit. They say he was found with nearly $12,000 and suspected cocaine.

The alleged trafficking operation was based at the now-demolished Victory Inn in Detroit. Authorities say Bell vanished before law enforcement broke up the operation in January 2017. Bell and several others were indicted on federal charges including human trafficking, drug trafficking and money laundering.

Authorities say the sophisticated criminal organization was using nearly all the rooms at the Victory Inn.
