Shahzad Khan allegedly operated a prostitution ring and made large sums of money by selling young girls to pedophiles like him. His home in Telford, England, served as a den where children were said to have been abused for years.

As the Mirror reported, the police received a tip about Khanโ€™s child sex slavery business as early as 1996, but they failed to act on it. As such, the old man was able to victimize over one hundred girls in Telford. At that time, it was said the police did not investigate further due to lack of evidence.

According to reports, the grandfather allegedly picked up some of his victims near police stations. The old man reportedly earned ยฃ2,000 per night by selling young girls to men who want to have sex with them.

Charles Djou, who represented Honolulu in the U.S. House from 2010 to 2011, wrote in an opinion piece published in Civil Beat on Monday he's disturbed that the Republican Party under Trump has become hostile to immigration.

Djou lamented Trump's desire to launch a trade war, his treatment of veterans like Sen. John McCain, his belittling of lawmakers and his recitation of conspiracy theories.

"I can no longer stand with a Republican Party that is led by a man I firmly believe is taking the party of Lincoln in a direction I fundamentally disagree with, and a party that is unwilling to stand up to him," Djou wrote.

Djou said he's most disappointed by the failure of the GOP to clearly and consistently condemn Trump's "childish behavior."

"Sadly today, too many Republicans either applaud Trump's tirades or greet them with silent acceptance," Djou said. "This leads to an implicit ratification by the GOP of Trump's undisciplined, uninformed and unfocused leadership as a core part of the Republican Party."

Designer Kris Van Assche said Monday that he was leaving Dior Homme after 11 years at the head of the French menswear label.

The departure of the Belgian creator comes only weeks after the arrival of new Christian Dior Couture chairman Pietro Beccari from Louis Vuitton.

Speculation is already rife that he will be replaced by the British designer Kim Jones, who left Vuitton in January after helping turn around its men's line.

South Korean musical artists will visit Pyongyang, North Korea's capital, from March 31 to April 3 and give two performances, according to a joint statement issued after the two Koreas met at a border village.

The development comes during a thaw in the North Korean nuclear crisis. A North Korean band performed in South Korea during the recently ended Pyeongchang Winter Olympics.

The South Korean delegation will include some of the country's pop legends, including Cho Yong-pil, Lee Sunhee and Cho Jin Hee, who performed in Pyongyang during a previous era of detente. Popular girl band Red Velvet is also among the South Korean groups, the statement said.

South Korea last sent a pop singer to North Korea in 2005, according to Seoul's Unification Ministry.
