Def some interesting stuff happening.

Just recently, have noticed I have a kind of mockingbird anon or anons that have picked up on a descriptive phrase I used once or twice to describe myself making a typo and it is very weird to see someone (or something?) at first mis-using the phrase as a kind of malapropism, but later kind of getting the meaning right. I have been here a long time but not long enough to be a chan veteran. I don’t throw a lot of chan-speak out there simply because I don’t know a lot of the sayings or their derivation, so I just do my own thing.

Have you ever watched a vid or read an article on how to control or manipulate others? They espouse the repeating of things the target says to kind of gain a rapport or “simpatico” with the target. And while I am not familiar beyond casually reading on the above subject, hypnosis or manipulation techniques, I think that repetition of what the target says creates a subtle repetition. Repetition is used even in music to have a trancelike effect on people but I’m no prude. I like a good song with a driving beat to get into.

But I have always had a high awareness for people trying to manipulate.

Am keeping an eye out. Could be someone who likes my turn of phrase, or maybe someone thinks I am talking in code(which is kinda cool) and they are inserting and using my words in convos to check the response?

Reminds me, in reverse, of the story of how they broke the Japanese code, by talking about an island in a uncoded message just to see how the Japanese would identify that island in code.

I don’t know. Not going to say the saying I used, because am still watching.
