Just wanting to bring eyes onto another little known Disney Cruiseline fact.
Did you know??
Disney has their own private island called Castaway Cay? Cay is pronounced "key" apparently. Apologies if this has been posted as I've been away a bit.
Keep in mind this island is under a 99 year lease from the Bahamas and they've moved their now closed 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea SUBMARINE and parked it right off the lagoon for snorkelers to see. This is for looks only from what I've read so
far…spoopy as hell if you ask me. About 60+ Disney employees live on the island year-round and food/supplies are brought in by their cruiselines and they have their own desalinating plant for drinking water.
A quick glance at their website and red flags were planting themselves in the ground all around me. Here are a few…besides the decommissioned submarine ffs.

Scuttle's Cove
"Take advantage of Disney Character Greetings, including a Dance Party with Lilo and Stitch. When you’re ready for some solo time, supervision for children ages 3 through 12 by Disney counselors is available at Scuttle's Cove, an on-island kid’s club."
(Here is where you have to register your kids to stay alone with Disney "counselors" and take note of how far away the adult's only beach Serenity Bay is on attached map. Divide and conquer?)
Teen Hideout
"Teen Hideout is just what it’s named for: a place where teens 14 to17 years of age can lounge—carefree—in their very own slice of paradise."
(Slice?? As in pizza?)
Also, for the voodoo studiers, they serve GUMBO…as in it's the main restaurant on the island and in the center of everything.
Hoping someone with a golden shovel can digg moar on this. I'm just not able to spend
more time on this right now with sick family member. God bless frens.
