Only Black Republican congressman to quit!

Rep. Will Hurd (R-Texas), the only African American Republican in the House of Representatives, announced Thursday night that he will not seek reelection in 2020.

"I have made the decision to not seek reelection for the 23rd Congressional District of Texas in order to pursue opportunities outside the halls of Congress to solve problems at the nexus between technology and national security," Hurd said on Twitter.

It is a Democrat district all along the Texas-Mexico border. He ran a really tough campaign against a Soros-backed former Air Force member that was lesbian. Old CIA guy who voted for impeachment, but states he will vote for Trump in 2020. Was not permitted to join the Congressional Black Caucus.

New "habitable" planet identified? 31 light years away,

Astronomers announced Wednesday that they had discovered the nearest potentially habitable planet outside our solar system.

The newfound exoplanet — a so-called super-Earth named GJ 357 d — lies 31 light-years away from our solar system. It’s about six times more massive than our planet and orbits in its host star’s habitable zone, where water could exist in liquid form on the surface.
