*Open Windows Accessories>Notepad as an administrator (important) and click 'Yes' when the nag asks if you want to make changes.
In Notepad go to File..then..Open; either click your way to, or in the box type C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts and enter that.
A text file will appear. Go to the bottom just past all the # signs and copy/paste the pack of IPs and 8kun.net pointers. Save.
Refresh your browser and/or webpages and see if your funtionality has returned. Good luck. Posted on the UK board, bc the Gen board is still Slow AH.

If you're reading this on Tor browser change all the page.onion links to eight-k-u-n..dot..n-e-t links in the hosts file. Had to spell it out bc Tor autocorrects links to it's scheme. Your clearnet addresses go in the hosts file…not onion addresses…then you should be good.
Let's try this to bypass Tor autocorrect:
If you copy paste this pack into the bottom of your hosts file and make the triple dots into single dots, then save, things should work with images and posting in clearnet. One more time…Tor is autocorrecting messages to it's own routing scheme…this is for clearnet functionality to work by updating the hosts file with good DNS pointers. Don't put .onion links in your hosts file…use these and fix them in the file. Good luck. We'll get there..
