I'm worked in many different countries in my life.

Everywhere else in the world, you /might/ get arrested for going /against/ the president. Depends on the country. Some have a short fuse with anti-govt activity and others, not so much.

But the USA is the only country I've seen where you can actually get attacked for supporting the govt and president. insane.
