This is a great idea!

Money well spent.

Of all of the stupid things that the gov't spends money on, this is one that actually make sense.

Bravo to the genius who figured out that the public needs public toilets.

I am familiar with the program.

I homeschooled my son from 4th grade thru highschool and he just graduated from law school.

I have a K-8 teaching degree.

What you have is a smaller version of a regular lock-step school.

I'm not criticizing it, it's better than sending the kids to public school.

Homeschooling is a way of life and a philosophy as well as a method of educating.

When someone other than the parent is dictating the curriculum and how to teach it, then it is very close to what a regular school is.

Every kid is unique and different with a different learning style.

Some kids learn to read by the age of 4 and some not until they are 6 or 7.

Homeschoolers are careful to not put their kids into the same box that they are saving them from.

No problem at all.

It's just that the homeschool community has worked and fought very hard to maintain its legal rights.

>Leigh Bortin founded it

This is where I foresee a possible senario.

Someone, someday, will get the bright idea to start a Leigh Bortin school.
