Navy names pilot who died in Death Valley crash

The Navy pilot who was killed in a crash at Death Valley National Park earlier this week has been identified as 33-year-old Lt. Charles Z. Walker, officials said.

“The Navy mourns the loss of one of our own and our hearts go out to the family and friends affected by this tragedy,” Navy Lt. Cmdr. Lydia Bock said in a statement.

Walker’s F/A-18E Super Hornet jet was assigned to the “Vigilantes” of Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 151 and based at Naval Air Station Lemoore.

The plane went down at about 10 a.m. Wednesday near an area in Rainbow Canyon, commonly referred to as Star Wars Canyon, not far from the Naval Air Weapons Station China Lake.

The jet crashed during a routine training practice, but the cause of the crash remains under investigation. Investigators hope photos of the crash could provide further details.

Germany to Italy: “Open your ports to the 3rd world!”

Germany’s interior minister Horst Seehofer has called on his counterpart in Italy, Matteo Salvini, to reopen the country’s ports to migrant transport vessels as NGOs increase their people-trafficking operations off the Libyan coast.

Seehofer, an open borders politician, has asked Italy’s national populist interior minister why he has closed his country’s ports when most of the migrants eventually end up docking and disembarking regardless, Il Giornale reports.

“I want to avoid the same pattern being repeated every time, with a ship with migrants waiting for eight or 14 days in front of Italy’s coasts and Salvini who does not want them to go ashore. But it always ends up docking anyway, either because migrants collapse, get sick, or there are pregnant women,” the German interior minister said.

Seehofer’s comments come on the heels of an agreement that was reached between the EU and Italy on Wednesday which allowed migrants on board of an Italian coastguard vessel to disembark at an Italian port so long as they would be relocated to other EU member states.

Pentagon Testing Mass Surveillance Balloons to Spy on Vehicles Across the US

Millions of Americans across the Midwest this summer are being subjected to surveillance from above as the Pentagon experiments with the use of surveillance radars attached to high-altitude balloons.

As The Guardian reported Friday, the defense and aerospace contractor Sierra Nevada Corporation was authorized by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) to send up to 25 balloons across six states to track vehicles.

U.S. Southern Command commissioned the project for the stated purpose of creating a “persistence surveillance system” to deter drug traffickers and perceived “homeland security threats.”

Civil liberties advocates were distressed at the newly-reported project on Friday, which the Sierra Nevada Corporation obtained a license to begin on July 12 and end on September 1.

“The deployment of this kind of surveillance capability in the United States is incredibly alarming,” Mana Azarmi, policy counsel for the Center for Democracy and Technology, told Common Dreams. “Persistent government surveillance, such as that facilitated by this technology, raises many civil liberties concerns and should not be permitted in the absence of a warrant.”

“Mass surveillance doesn’t make us safer,” the digital rights group Fight for the Future tweeted.

Programs like the Pentagon’s balloon experiment “pose a grave threat to basic human rights, freedom of expression, and civil liberties,” Fight for the Future Deputy Director Evan Greer told Common Dreams. “These programs are not about stopping violence, they’re about social control.”

The balloons are being sent from South Dakota through portions of Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, Missouri, and Illinois. Their high-tech radars are able to simultaneously track many vehicles at once “on a 25-mile swath beneath the balloon,” according to The Guardian.

Trump Supporter In Ohio Speaks For Millions: ‘People Are Fed Up With Hating On America’ (VIDEO)

People on the left have made an industry out of hating on America, and lots of people are sick of it.

It was one thing when it was a handful of radical college students who did this, but now we have members of Congress who peddle this garbage and patriotic Americans have had it.

One Trump supporter in Ohio this week summed it up perfectly.

Townhall has details:

MAGA: Give This Woman VIP Seating At All Trump Rallies After These Remarks

While the Democrats continue to shank each other onstage since their 2020 clown car is still 15-plus candidates deep, President Trump is raking in the cash and already de facto running a general election campaign. He had a rally in the battleground state of Ohio last night, Cincinnati to be exact, and this one woman should be given VIP seating for all future Trump rallies:

Clashes in Nantes as French police use tear gas on protesters following silent march (VIDEO)

French police used water cannon and tear gas on a crowd of demonstrators following a silent march in commemoration of a man who was found dead this week after going missing during a police raid on a music festival last month.

Protesters took to the streets for a ‘Justice for Steve’ march in Nantes city center on Saturday following the discovery of Steve Maia Canico’s body on Tuesday. As well as holding a silent vigil, the crowd also chanted slogans denouncing French President Emmanuel Macron.

Tensions escalated during the march and the police used water cannon and tear gas to disperse the crowd. Demonstrators used street furniture to create makeshift barricades and these were later set on fire. The police said that 1,700 people took part in the demonstration and 33 arrests were made.

Former Google engineer Kevin Cernekee told Fox News host Tucker Carlson that his former employer will work to prevent President Donald Trump from being reelected.

They have the Tech to put bases on the Moon and machines to Mars.. then call Canada uninhabitable .. people are so FKing gullible it gets sicking .. If you think twice nowadays your almost a FKing Genus

Almost ninety percent of Canada is uninhabitable

anada is the second largest country in the world. (The U.S.S.R. is bigger.) It stretches from the Atlantic to the Pacific. Only 12 per cent is habitable, the other 88 per cent is useless for any purpose other than growing trees or mining the vast mineral resources, most of which are under snow and ice and barely touched.

It is an immense land with limitless rolling prairies, lakes as big as seas, vast forests, huge rivers, and the savage, imposing and beautiful Rocky Mountains soaring up in the clear blue sky. The North-West Territories are frozen for many months of the year. With its huge deposits of oil, gas and minerals, it is one of the richest countries in natural wealth.
