It would seem POTUS has been trying very hard for the past 2 weeks to get the media to address/ask The Q. They've squirmed a bit about it, but have largely ignored the pretty obvious bait. Every day that passes, it becomes more and more obvious POTUS is directly acknowledging us:
7/17 - We had QBaby - where POTUS made a spectacle at the Greenville rally of a baby wearing a custom Trump/Q onesie.
Twitter got a walloping that night and the next day with #QBaby, Morning news personalities ignored it, and a couple rather tame articles were written snidely acknowledging the event. We all thought that was a softball for MSM, but they saw it too and didn't swing
7/27 - POTUS retweets @Voteridplease - A Twitter account that proudly boasts a #WWG1WGA in their 'about me' and a matching banner at the top of their page.
This one actually got a response. Twitter promptly suspended @Voteridplease for breaking Twitter’s rules against “using multiple accounts to artificially amplify or disrupt conversations.” The account was soon restored, but not before several scathing articles by known fake news sources flooded the scene (WaPo, tDB, The Hill, HuffPo, MediaMatters, BuzzFeed, etc). I believe MSNBC and CNN both disparaged POTUS (and us) several times on live TV over the retweet as well.
Overall, I would say it was a rather small ripple effect. However, we have seen a recent uptick in small-scale domestic terrorism (shootings) which quickly and easily fill the news cycles, giving MSM a segue into whatever narrative push is next.
8/1 - FBI memo obtained by Yahoo! - Several known conspiracy theories were named by the FBI, including QAnon, as "domestic terror threats".
Not sure what the play was here - whether it was Yahoo! trying to slander us by releasing the May 30 memo out of the Phoenix field office, which some have speculated has been edited by Yahoo! - or whether it was /ourguys at the FBI "leaking" the document in an attempt to drive MSM to address the topic again. Either way, another round of articles came out shredding our movement, and another round of shit talking ensued on daytime TV.
8/2 - POTUS tweets out to his old buddy Steve Bannon - A short video of an interview with Bannon was featured, and at the bottom of the screen, the scrolling stock ticker repeatedly displayed "Invesco QQQ Trust (QQQ)" during the entire length of the video.
I haven't seen any MSM acknowledgment of this yet
I'm actually kind of surprised no reporter has publicly asked POTUS directly yet.
QBaby was pretty major.
What's it going to take??
