YOU are a bit far off here. Yes, from the tribal days of Mesopotamian life, to WWII, if you were married, and you were out committing adultery, the deadly sexually transmitted diseases would not just kill YOU, they would kill your partner, and leave your children orphaned. Any partner who committed adultery would be in fact declaring his/her intent to kill his/her spouse, in a way we would classify as "negligent homicide" today.
But you present the wrong answer here.
Jesus said "Let him who is free of sin case the first stone" to end all of that stoning/ adultry nonsense. He did NOT say get rid of the law. He said to teach the law, but rather allow the innocent partner to escape the marriage.
You will notice the civilizations that grew out of ancient tribes into great nations today ALL enforced monogamy in their religions. Marriage is not about love. Only ignorant people living with antibiotics today could possibly think so.
Marriage was a quarantine of deadly disease so the tribe/town/state/nation would not die off like there was a massive plague similar to AIDS. Arranged marriages work. Chosen partners work. Not a damn thing to do with love in MANY instances.
It is central to child survival, and quarantine to keep parents alive until the children are adults. The definition of marriage is over 5000 years old, and is a religious definition. The government has NOTHING to say about it. Marriage laws were around long before America, and these lefty fools think they can be defined by government. There will be a plague because of this.
There already is. We have tons of young people griping about the viral transmitted diseases that can not be cured by antibiotics. It will get worse if these young people do not figure this true history out quickly. Marriage will be the answer, as always. I hope they do not get hurt too bad before they figure it out. If I was young I would start a virgin's dating site, where people volunteer to be tested for STD's before dating, and where everyone agrees sex is off limits until married. The young people deserve to have this choice of action.

Religions are steady if they are based in solid tribe survival philosophy. The better their morals, the more the religious laws make sure a people survive, as a matter of religious law.
Religions do not crash.
They are the very thing that keeps civilization going every time civil government crashes.
All tribes with a less valuable religious law, allowing for the murder of child bearing women, honor killing, the sacrifice of children to gods, and group sex orgies, child sexual relations (damaging sex organs) or even multiple wives to one man (bigomy) etc, saw their procreative capacity, and thus their numbers drop out to extinction.
In the BIBLE, adultery became the one legal reason for divorce, eventually, because, if you stay with a person who is hell bent on getting a deadly disease to give to you, as a logical matter, "Death is going to "Do Us Part" and the marriage will be over with anyway.
Best to save the life of at least one of the parents. Remember, women would have up to 11-15 children each.
But what you suggest would have us hanging all of the young people, because they were not taught the truth about the reason for marriage. THAT would ALSO cause a pretty serious drop in the population. This mis-education about marriage being about "love", was done in our schools, (intentionally by (((them))) so that more of the young people will be sick in the future, and even die. Now we have tranny witches reading to our kids in libraries.
