In wake of El Paso mass shooting Beto O'Rourke cancels presidential campaign event

2020 Democratic presidential candidate Beto O'Rourke said he's cutting a Las Vegas campaign stop short – to go to his hometown of El Paso, Texas in the wake of a mass shooting.

O'Rourke was born in El Paso and in 2012, was elected to represent the Texas congressional district that includes El Paso.

The visibly shaken O'Rourke announced his change of plans to reporters.
