A shooting was also reported at Cielo Vista. Proximate reporting said it was just a precautionary police presence, not a shooting. Local news has always denied there was a shooting there at all, but they have reported that numerous shootings in El Paso were being called in, all "determined" to be false alarms. Except for one domestic incident.
