I already reported from monitoring the police scanners (all were on one channel until about 3 local) that they both lost the tapes and an officer disappeared during a stop and never checked back in with dispatch.

The perpetrators already have removed them from wal-mart and will either destroy or modify.

Don't trust the footage.

While monitoring police radio there was a report of a shooting, I think it was room 202 in some hotel. Doesn't seem related to me.

Somebody also called in a report of police abuse by a "Deputy McPenis" which gave me a thousand keks. The female dispatcher had to read that name twice. No results on tracing the origin.

It seems they started injecting misinformation fairly early on in this process.

My guess is that he was the one who had the tapes taken from the Wal Mart and was transporting them.

Disappeared because it's standard protocol to remove any form of monitoring or communication, such as his walkie-talkie, before entering a secured facility. Also would have had to change vehicles as police vehicles are all tracked with GPS. So the traffic stop was a farce to allow him to change cars, remove equipment, and deliver the tapes to (likely) the FBI.

That's my theory, at least. He never reported back in, and eventually dispatched stopped asking about it (as if she was told to stop talking about it).

I should have. I know.

Can destroy the police's copy, but that shit is picked up and broadcast over the internet.

Better believe several people have the entire thing recorded. Maybe they're just waiting for the right time to drop itโ€ฆ
