The shooting occurred yesterday evening (Thursday, August 1, 2019). This Arlington, TX police officer responded to a call for service, and upon arriving, a small dog (approximately 40 pounds) ran towards the officer. The officer opened fire at the small animal, missing the animal, and killing the dogs owner. The victim is the Arlington Fire Chief's daughter. In the end, you can see him running towards the victim after he realizes the consequences of his actions. This is the only video released at this time.

what I noticed is that there is no date/time stamp on the recording

nor can you see a dog or a person

even when going frame by frame there is no view of anything

it looks like a public alleyway,

not a yard where a dog would be protective
