just to piggyback
so it is currently the consensus that
A) single # salt is not super secure, rooted, needing of /cm/ root 8kun code, etc, - simply put these codes arent going to rotate, go through a new algorithm, etc
B) the ## double and triple ### salts need root, code, core, etc however/whatever you coders call it - simply put these ## and ### use the root server for added security
C) Qs prior tripcodes were # one salt hence the ! one exclamation poit
Qs current trip code is ## hence the two !! exclamation points
